INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups sugar
- A pinch of salt
- ½ cup boiling water
- ½ cup light karo
- 2 egg whites
- 1½ cups pecan pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- Mix sugar, salt, boiling water and karo. Stir constantly while boiling.
- When syrup makes soft ball, pour in well beaten egg whites. Stir until firm.
- Add to mixture vanilla and pecans.
- Drop by teaspoon on a buttered dish.
