INGREDIENTS
- 10 cups flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 sticks oleo or butter
- 1 cup ground or chopped dates
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 2 eggs
- 8 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoon cloves
- 3 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup milk
- 8 teaspoons cocoa
DIRECTIONS
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and dates and mix well with mixer.
- By hand, add flour and spice mixture, milk and pecans.
- Roll with hand to form small balls.
- Bake on a greased cookie sheet about 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Make icing and roll cookies in.
