Divinity Fudge

3 cups sugar
pinch of salt
½ cup boiling water
½ cup light karo
2 egg whites
1½ cups cut-up pecans
1 teaspon vanilla


  1. Mix sugar, salt, boiling water and karo. Stir constantly while boiling.
  2. When syrup mkes soft ball, pour in well beaten egg whites. Stir until firm - Put in vanilla and pecans.
  3. Drop by teaspoon on a buttered dish.
