INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 cup pecans (may use 1½ cups)
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter. Add sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt. Mix well.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Blend in syrup, milk, and pecans.
- Mix well and pour into a 9″ unbaked pie shell.
- Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees.
- Reduce the temperature to 325 degrees and bake 50 minutes or until firm.
